3627932 - Hire date correction issue with onSave business rule on custom date field of Job Information portlet in SAP Successfactors Employee Central

When using Hire Date Correction process, onSave business rule for changing hire date to custom field from Job Information are executed and rule is fetching the old value instead of new hire date value.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Hire Date Correction

1. Perform hire date correction for one sample user.
2. After correction is done, custom date field value is not calculated as per new hire date (taking old hire date value) with onSave rule.

System Limitation

• Work-around planned as enhancement ECT-256889 which need business rule configuration change by following the steps below (included in 2H 2025 release):

1. Enable hire-date field in Manage Business Configuration -> jobInfo.
2. Add line Job Information Model.Hire Date.Value in onSave rule instead of Job Information Model.Employment Details Model.Hire Date.Value.
3. Do the hire date correction process again.
