3627954 - Unable to login to Source and Destination in CMC Promotion Management after patch upgrade

Symptom

After upgrading to the patch versions 4.3 SP04 Patch 1300 & higher - or - 2025 Patch 200 & higher,

  • Users are Unable to login to other systems either Source and Destination in CMC Promotion Management  
  • Login to New CMS in CMC Promotion Management Shows below error
    Could not reach CMS 'Hostname:Port'. Specify the correct host and port and check for network issues, please refer to SAP Knowledge Base Article 2151044 on the SAP Support Portal. (FWM 20030) 
  • Promotion Trace logs may show following info 
    message =  login The exception is of a known origin. (Error: WSE 99998)
    cause exception =  java.lang.Exception
    cause message =  invalid CMS
