3627976 - Error while importing Succession Data Model

Error while importing Succession Data Model: "Form Data is invalid ???User Info Element (company) can NOT have the same Id name as a standard element.???"

1. On Provisioning
2. Go to Import/Export Data Model
3. Choose file for Import
4. Submit
5. Error appears "Form Data is invalid. ???User Info Element (company) can NOT have the same Id name as a standard element.???" 

 

In Data Model and/or BCUI User Info element field with Identifier = company is enabled.

As the error message points out, the User Info field cannot have the same Id (Identifier) name as the hard coded Standard Elements. Please refer to guide Standard Element Field IDs in the Succession Data Model | SAP Help Portal

How to resolve the issue in Succession Data Model Import:

1. Download and save a backup of the Succession Data Model
2. In the Succession Data Model find the referenced field from the error in the User Info Element section
3. Change the “ID” to a new value, different from the Standard Element ID and unique to all other fields 
4. Save a new version of the Succession Data Model (different to the backup version)
5. Import the updated Succession Data Model
6. As a customer, you don’t have access to Provisioning. To complete tasks in Provisioning, contact your implementation partner. If you’re no longer working with an implementation partner, contact SAP Cloud Support.
