3627984 - Table widget set variable screen shows model technical name instead of model description in sap analytics cloud

Symptom

  • Table Widget Set Variable screen only shows ID Technical Name;
  • It is not bringing Model Description. Instead, it is showing Model Technical Name;
  • Currently, the Set Variable screen title is coming correctly for Chart Widgets.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a Table Widget and select "Edit Table Prompts";
  2. You can see the "Set Variable" screen with "Model Technical" name instead of "Model Description";
  3. Create a Table;
  4. Select "Edit Table Prompts";
  5. You can see the "Set Variables" screen with "Model Technical" name instead of "Model Description".

Cause

Program error.

Resolution

Deployed as part of the QRC2 2025 release.
