3628060 - 'Accept Match' button is not available while rehiring Contingent workers from the Add New Employee page

"Accept Match" button does not appear with the below set of permissions granted while rehiring a Contingent Worker from Add New Employee page.

• Rehire Inactive Employee
• Rehire Inactive Employee (by ‘match’ in New Hire)

Instead, "Rehire with new employment" button appears while rehiring an inactive contingent worker even without the relevant permissions being granted.

The issue is only with Contingent Worker and not regular employee.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Contingent Workforce

1. Navigate to Add New Employee.
2. Enter the Personal Information details of an inactive Contingent Worker > Continue
3. Observe that "Accept Match" button is missing and instead "Rehire with New Employment" button appears without the relevant permissions granted to the user performing the rehire.

Engineering has identified the reported behavior as a product gap.

The expected behavior is as such:

If a user has permissions for "Rehire with new employment", only then the button for "Rehire with new employment" should appear in the Duplicate Match popup irrespective of whether a full time employee is rehired as a full time employee or a Contingent Worker is rehired as a full time employee or a a full time employee is rehired as a Contingent Worker.

Engineering has created a code correction - WEF-166978 to fix the behavior tentatively in 2605 release, however the dates are yet to be confirmed.
