3628182 - Validating the Knowledge Bases in the SAP Solution Modeling Environment v3.4.0

• Solution Sales Configurator Eclipse Solution Modeling Environment version 3.4.0 does not validate the current knowledge bases.

• It throws an error where the name is longer than 18 characters: "Identifier too long (X), maximum is 18. Please refer to the SAP Note 3203627 for further details."

• The SAP note states, "SME does not support characteristic name length more than 30 characters."

• The new Eclipse Preferences for “SAP Solution Sales Configurator” have changed and don’t show all the validation options like what the previous versions (3.3.x) had, just ECC, S4HANA, or CRM.
