3628405 - How to move an account from one structure level to another in general ledger

You wonder how to move an account from a structure level to another one.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Overview view.
3. Search and open the activity Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination.
4. Click Edit financial reporting structures.
5. Select the respective Key ID reference and click Edit.
6. Click Search and search for the account you want to move.
7. Then, select its Parent level.
8. Click Actions -> Assign Account.
9. In the Assign Account popup window, select the desired account and unmark the checkbox.
10. Click OK.
11. Navigate and select the new Parent level.
12. Click Actions -> Assign Account.
13. Find the desired account and mark the checkbox.
14. Click OK.
15. Click OK.
16. Save your changes.
