Symptom

There is an error "Assign a valid financial statement hierarchy ID" while generating the Statement of Changes in Owners' Equity in the app Run Statutory Reports.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the app Run Statutory Reports.
  2. Select the report Statement of Changes in Owners.
  3. Review the log for the error message: "Assign a valid financial statement hierarchy ID."

Cause

There is no valid FS hierarchy ID maintained in the configuration.

Resolution

Kindly check the parameters specific to the report category in the configuration activity Setting Up Your Statutory Reporting (ID:101071).
