3628880 - Error While Creating a Collaboration Project in App "Project Briefs"

Error message "Cannot create collaborative project. Grant authorization: <URL>" is displayed when trying to create a Collaboration Project using app "Project Briefs".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open app "Project Briefs" and search for a project;
2. Select the project, click on Edit;
3. Navigate to the Related Objects tab, click on Create;
4. Select Collaboration Project;
5. When trying to save the project, error "Cannot create collaborative project. Grant authorization: <URL>" is displayed.

This error usually happens due to missing authorizations for API access.

Through BTP Cockpit, ensure that the user has a role collection assigned, which contains the roles of Project Manager, Project Member, and User.

Keep in mind that changing authorization assignments may take some time to be effective. Usually, resetting up the communication scenario could speed up this process.

Additionally, it is the expected behavior that every user has to open the mentioned URL and perform the login step, so that the token is generated in the background.
