3628914 - Error Message "The text type '10002' does not belong to configuration profile 'FND_MAT_01'" When Replicating Material to C4C by MaterialReplicationInitiatedByExternalIn

Symptom

When replicating materials to C4C via Service Interface MaterialReplicationInitiatedByExternalIn, the error "The text type '10002' does not belong to configuration profile 'FND_MAT_01'" is raised in the Web Service Message Monitoring tool.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Administrator work center and select the General Setting work center view.
  2. Open the Web Service Message Monitoring under System Administration.
  3. Select query All.
  4. Search for message with error: "The text type '10002' does not belong to configuration profile 'FND_MAT_01'".

Cause

The internal text type '10002` is not supported by the C4C Product object.

Resolution

  1. Go to the Business Configuration Work Center.
  2. Open the Code List Mapping for Integration with External Applications and Solutions Activity.
  3. Open the Code List Mapping for TextCollectionTextTypeCode under local context 10296.
  4. Map the external text code to C4C local Code 10006.
