3628946 - Extension Field of Type Web Link Is Not Rendered as Hyperlink in Report Output

You have created an extension field of type Web Link and in a report it shows only as text and not a clickable link.

• SAP Cloud For Customer
• SAP Business By Design

1. Go to Business Analytics.
2. Go to Design report.
3. Search for a report you have added the extension field to.
4. Run the report and you notice the field is only text value and not a clickable link.

There is no hyperlink functionality available for extension fields — this feature is only supported for attachment type.
