On January 1st 2026, all HP-UX releases will be "end-of-support" by HPE. Though an extended "Mature Support" to December 31 2028 is still available, HPE will no longer provide software bug fixes, updates and patches
- Security vulnerabilities will not be addressed
- No new patches will be provided
- No enhancements will be provided
- Technical support from HPE will be limited to "best-effort" with no sustained engineering
