3629038 - Is it possible to report attendance and absence data combined ?

It is needed to report the employees' attendance data from time sheet and absence data from time off together. Is this supported by SF Employee Central or SF Time Tracking ?

Yes, it is possible to achieve so via a Story Report, where the absences, attendances and allowances can be retrieved together.

Please note, this reporting capability itself does not require SF Time Tracking license, just that for SF Employee Central customers without Time Tracking, the TTR features like flexible period time sheet etc cannot be utilized for time recording. 
The reportability on the recorded attendance, allowance and absence data does not require SF Time Tracking enablement. 
And this is our recommended approach to report attendances and absences. 

If it is really not possible to adopt above recommended new story reportability due to your business details, please be aware of below known situations. 

• 3090296 - Start Time and End Time fields of EmployeeTime & EmployeeTimeSheet Report showing Time Stamp 1/1/1970 with Canvas report
• The time fields like Start Time, End Time are converted to the user’s locale time zone, causing discrepancies
• Error 'The value type doesn't match the type of the attribute' may happen in Story if you are not using our new reporting capability above.
