3629176 - Web Service Error "Accessing read-only fields not permitted; Logistics area XXX not valid" When Confirming Warehouse Task for Supplier Return Delivery via API managesitelogisticstaskin

When trying to trying to confirm outbound warehouse task for supplier return delivery via web service managesitelogisticstaskin, following error occurs:

-Accessing read-only fields not permitted
-Logistics area XXX not valid (XXX represent for the logistics area ID)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Logon to the back-end.
2. Open the Transaction MDRS and open the Inbound Service: ManageSiteLogisticsTaskIn.
3. Consume the corresponding payload, then above error occurs.
4. Then navigate to the Outbound Logistics work center. 
5. Go to the Task Control view. 
6. Find and select the desired warehouse task.
7. See it is Not Started.
8. Click Confirm.
9. Enter the Source Logistics Area: XXX.
10. If open the Logistics Area help value, note it is Active and contains the correct Quantity and Identified Stock.

For Return to supplier scenario, the Restricted checkbox is checked by default and system is searching for Stock with restricted indicator. Current the restricted product inventory status is unable to fulfilled the business needed, hence, system is not finding the stock with restricted indicator in system, it is giving error.

Check from UI side, if necessary we can delete this default indicator in the confirmation screen and the system will then propose logistics areas which have the use Restrict Stock and which also contain non-Restrict Stock. 

While using web service to confirm the task, Elements <InventoryRestrictedIndicator> when set to true, marks the particular input material for the given actual quantity as restricted. Normal task confirmations cannot be performed on a stock marked as restricted, user can uncheck the 'Restricted stock' flag when use API to confirm supplier return logistics task since same function implemented in UI.
