3629215 - Error "Grouping XX does not exist" during execution of program /SHCM/RH_SYNC_BUPA_EMPL_SINGLE

Symptom

When executing the program /SHCM/RH_SYNC_BUPA_EMPL_SINGLE to synchronize employees and business partners after system migration or configuration, the following error appears in transaction SLG1:

Grouping XX does not exist  
Message No. R1212

(where XX can be any BP grouping)

This prevents the successful synchronization of employee data with business partner records.
