3629415 - Error when deploying a view associated to hierarchy with directory

Hierarchy with Directory in SAP Datasphere for a compound object returns following error message when deploying the Dimension View:

• Invalid hierarchy associations in dimension(s). All leaf elements must be used as part of the association between dimension and hierarchy

SAP Datasphere

1. Create Hierarchy with Directory with check box "Is Leaf"
2. Associate the Hierarchy with Directory to the Dimension View
3. Deploy the View

The cause of the issue is due to incorrect hierarchy associations where all leaf elements are not used as part of the association between dimension and hierarchy.

1. Ensure all columns are mapped to the corresponding columns from the dimension trying to use the hierarchy.
2. In the hierarchy settings, select the columns so that they can be mapped with the columns in the dimension view.
3. Deploy the view again and verify the associations are correctly defined.
