Symptom

  • Is it possible to set Data Access Control for Shared Dimension separately for different Models? 

Environment

  • SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD

Reproducing the Issue

  •  Try to set different User Data access control on the same dimension but on different Models

Cause

  • Dimension based Data Access Control settings affect all models, using this Dimension. 
    It is not possible to define those settings differently for different models (model specific). 

Resolution

  • Create a duplicated Dimension for the scenario.
