Symptom

  • The job "TEMP_STTP_LOG_DELETION" runs daily but does not seem to honor the error and success horizons of 31 days.
  • 54% of the BALDAT logs are assumed undeletable by the application without a clear reason.
  • There are around millions (~3+) of non-deletable logs present.
  • BALDAT is consuming about 978GB on the disk, impacting the data volume management (DVM) strategy.
