1. Click the Release button within the Manage Documented Credit Decisions app.
2. Observe that no pop-up notification message is triggered.

Pop-up notification is not a standard feature in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. The notifications are triggered by the Situation Handling - Standard Framework for predefined business situations.

1. Use the App Manage Situation Types to configure a custom situation type (Z_FIN_DCD_APPROVAL) by copying the default situation template FIN_DCD_APPROVAL.
2. The default setting contains the preconfigured conditions. The situation is triggered when an approval hierarchy for the respective DCD is defined and an approval is pending for any user currently responsible.
3. In case multiple approvers have been maintained in the approval hierarchy, the next approver receives the notification when the previous approver has approved the DCD.
4. Condition 1 is set to status 1 (Pending).
5. Condition 2 is set to status 2, 3, or 4 (Approved, Rejected, or Redundant).
6. Turn on the notification for the Condition 2 by selecting the checkbox "Send Notification".
7. Maintain the recipients for the situation type. The recipients for this template are configured in the Manage Credit Management Rules app.
8. Save and activate the custom situation type Z_FIN_DCD_APPROVAL.
