3630061 - Component Appears Cut Off When Running Canvas Report

When a user adds an existing page from another report using the "Add Existing Page" option, the custom page dimensions (e.g., modified height or width) are not retained. The added page conforms to the default page size, which may cause content to spill outside the visible area.

1. Create a new report or edit a report where the page and component have been resized
2. Save the report
3. Open a different report and use the "Add Existing Page" option:
   
4. Copy the previously created page:
   
5. Observe that the component is out of the page:
   
   
6. Run the report and observe that the component may appear cut off or misaligned:
   

This is the expected behavior as per current product design. When an existing page is added using the "Add Existing Page" option, the components layout is preserved, but it is inserted into a new canvas/page that uses the default page dimensions. The original page’s custom size is not retained.

The fix for the issue is scheduled for 1H 2026 release

• Preview: April 13, 2026 - Monday
• Production: May 15 & 16, 2026 - Friday & Saturday

Until the fix is rolled out, designers should manually adjust the page dimensions after importing an existing page:

1. Select the imported page
2. Go to "Edit page properties"
   
   
3. Update the page height and width, and/or reposition or resize the component as needed. 
   

NOTE:

• This behavior is limited to the "Add Existing Page" workflow. Creating a new report or page directly does not exhibit this issue, as the tool enforces default layout settings.
• Please review that all components are placed within the visible page boundaries before saving the report and putting it to productive use. This ensures that no content is truncated when the report is run.
