• No data shown in SAP Marketing Cloud Recommendation Analytics
• No impressions, clicks, or conversions displayed in the "Manage Recommendations" App
• Missing SAP commerce KPI in SMC recommendation App

SAP Marketing Cloud Edition

1. Logon to SAP Marketing Cloud Tenant
2. Go to Manage Recommendations App
3. Click on the Toggle KPI visibility button on the right-hand side
4. Check/verify the KPI metrics

Standard system behaviour

• SAP Commerce requires active cron jobs in order for data to be sent to SAP Marketing Cloud.
• Cron job manages interactions the transfers from SAP commerce to the SMC, it is important to note that the cron job is not activated by default, it needs to be manually activated with:
  - Click through data: The SendRecoClickthroughCronJob cron job manages the transfer of click through data to the SAP Marketing system. Click through data information can be access here
  - Impression Data: Impressions Data require two cron jobs in order for data to be sent to Marketing Cloud from SAP Commerce: AggregateRecoImpressionsJob and sendRecoImpressionsCronJob. Impression Data information can be access  here

• The following point below are important to understand how recommandation analytics data from  Commerce are shown in Marketing Cloud

  • The sapymktrecommendationbuffer extension stores product recommendations, recommendation impressions, click through events, and offer interactions in SAP Commerce Cloud.
  • The sapymktrecommendation extension saves the collected data in the buffer using the sapymktrecommendationbuffer extension. The sapymktrecommendationbuffer extension reads the information and sends it to the SAP Marketing system at regular intervals using cron jobs.
  • The sapymktrecommendationbuffer extension does not store offer recommendations.
