3630734 - Does SAP Datasphere have the feature of exporting delta-enabled local tables via the Command Line Interface (CLI) ? - SAP Datasphere

Export and Import Delta Capture enabled local table via CLI does not work properly.

• The exported CSN/JSON is incomplete, so it cannot be imported into another space or tenant.

Export and Import Delta Capture enabled local table via CLI.

Exporting delta enabled local table via command CLI is not supported in Datasphere.

The currently available options are: 

1. Transporting Content Between Tenants or Importing and Exporting Objects in CSN/JSON Files between spaces/tenants can be used in this scenario.
2. If command CLI must be used to export and import such tables, the following steps are needed:
3. 1. Create a new table without switching on delta
   2. Save the table without deployment
   3. Export the table
   4. If the exported table requires to hold delta information, the delta can be enabled after the export and save and deploy it.

Also there is an ongoing campaign for this enhancement request with status Submitted on the SAP Customer Influence Portal for SAP Datasphere:
