Symptom

  • Setup remote source through CamelJdbcAdapter to ClickHouse
  • Try to query the DATETIME column through virtual table failed with error.
  • Error in DP agent framework log.
    "DefaultErrorHandler | CamelLogger.log  - Failed delivery for (MessageId: ID-*** on ExchangeId: ID-***). Exhausted after delivery attempt: 1 caught: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: Code: 43, e.displayText() = DB::Exception: Illegal type DateTime of argument of function substring: While processing substring(TEST_Date, 1, 4) AS FUNCTION_ALIAS_PREFIX_0 (version 21.1.2.15 (official build))
