3630928 - API_MANAGE_WORKFORCE_TIMESHEET does not accept negative time in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

When submitting negative timesheet hours using the API_MANAGE_WORKFORCE_TIMESHEET, the error "Specify positive values only" is triggered.

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

 



Reproducing the Issue

  1. Use API_MANAGE_WORKFORCE_TIMESHEET.
  2. Submit hours that are negative.

Cause

Negative hours cannot be submitted using API_MANAGE_WORKFORCE_TIMESHEET.

Resolution

  1. Use the Delete 'D' or Update 'U' timesheet operations when trying to correct or remove timesheet entries.
