3630952 - System does not allow negative stock postings despite "Allow Negative Stock" flag being active

System is not allowing a negative stock quantity posting even though 'Negative stocks allowed in plant' is set in the material master.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public 

 “Allow Negative Stock” checkbox is enabled in material master

Current available stock is less than the quantity being posted. Cannot  post a good issue due to error M7021.

Negative Stock is not allowed on Plant / Sloc level 

Negative stock balances can only result if they are allowed at the following levels:

• Valuation area level

• Storage location level

• Material level (plant data in the material master record)

 Implementation Activities (IMG)

Materials Management > Inventory Management and Physical Inventory > Goods Issue / Transfer Postings > Allow Negative Stocks 

Set Negative Stock is as allowed for Plant  / Sloc level
