3631033 - How to enable the SSO link in the "New User Created" email template

Symptom

This article explains how the "New User Created",email can be triggered for users who wants to login only via Single Sign-On. (SSO). 

Environment

SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a new user in the system.
  2. Send the "New User Created" email to the user.
  3. Observe that the email template shows only the non-SSO URL link.

Resolution

While creating the user, you can adapt one of the following points:

Option 1: Assign the Security Policy: S_BUSINESS_USER_WITHOUT_PASSWORD.

or

Option 2: If you are assigning a Custom Security Policy, ensure the option "Enable Password Sign-In" is Disabled. (Refer the screenshot).

Then, when the template is triggered, the System URL shown the email will having the link as follows : https://myxxxxxx.crm.cloud.sap/?auth=sso
