3631042 - Attachments Not Passed in Mail Receiver Adapter When Inbound Mail is of Type Application/PDF

Symptom

A mail with attachment is sent to Cloud Integration via Mail Sender adapter, and is then sent to some receiver system via a Mail Receiver adapter.

  • When the inbound mail contains both a body and attachments (it has content type 'multipart/mixed') the attachment is included in the outbound mail.
  • When the inbound mail consists of just a pdf (it has content type 'application/pdf') no attachment is passed in the Mail receiver adapter outbound call.
