3631114 - Error when Changing Project Task Assignment in Project Management

System displays an error when the change project task assignment is done.

Error message: "all expense items are ignored because they cannot be reassigned"

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Project Management work center
2. Go to Time and Expenses view
3. Select "All items"
4. Search for relevant project.
5. Click on "Change project task assignment"
6. Enter the project task ID
7. Click on "Ok"
8. Error appears "all expense items are ignored because they cannot be reassigned"

Project A contains the tasks to be assigned to Project B. However, Project A is currently in 'Closed' status, while Project B is in 'Released' status.

Ensure that both Project A and Project B are set to the status 'Released'. Tasks can only be assigned once the projects are in this specific status. If either of the projects is still in a different status (Closed), the system will restrict task assignment. Kindly update the status accordingly before proceeding with task allocation.
