3631119 - Is it possible to remove trash icon from Alternative Name section in Personal Information or restrict its deletion via Role Based Permissions? - Employee Central

The requirement is to know if it is possible to prevent the deletion of Alternative Name section in Personal Information.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Navigate to an Employee Profile > Personal Information;
2. Open the portlet > Insert New Record or edit an existing one;
3. Check that even if Alternative Name fields are all mandatory, trash icon is still being displayed and end user is able to remove this section before saving.

It is currently not possible to remove the trash icon or prevent the deletion of Alternative Name section from Personal Information portlet.

Create custom-string fields in Personal Information for Alternative Name and set them to required.
