3631205 - Character limit on translations in Manage Configuration UI in SAP SuccessFactors

Character limit on translations is currently set as 128 in Manage Configuration UI. Attempts to add more characters are restricted to 128 characters.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Go to Manage Configuration UI and search for any MDF Object
2. Click on Edit Properties or edit any of existing fields
3. For any field where you see the "World" icon, click on it to add a translation 
4. Try to add more than 128 characters and get an error message - "reached the maximum length allowed of 128 characters."
   
   

The character limit is hardcoded hence it cannot be changed.

This is the current system design.

This value cannot be increased and the limit of characters in translations fields for custom UIs is 128.
