Top Interest Custom View in SAP Marketing Cloud Segmentation

Example : A contact has multiple interactions assigned to different interests, e.g.

• 10 interactions with interest A
• 7 interactions with interest B
• 20 interactions with interest C

Marketing wants to send an email based on the contact's "top interest." Therefore, the contact should only receive one email (not three). In our case, the email with the content for interest C.

This custom view uses a rank node which is considered as performance critical in case of high data volume (e.g. a huge number of interactions) in the system. Therefore you will receive a warning message while uploading the view.

The custom view for top interests, although delivered by SAP, is to be considered as any other custom view and stays in the full responsibility of the customer. SAP will not provide support in case of any functional or performance issues.
