3631513 - Errors when importing (uploading) consolidation operations using Excel due to "0.07" values

Symptom

Importing consolidation operations from an MS Excel (xlsx) file using the following applications:

  • "Import Group Journal Entries" application (App ID F3073) or
  • "Flexible Upload of Reported Financial Data" (App ID FINCS_UPL_EXEC)

The following error messages appear:

  •  G00657 "Conversion to internal data format failed"
  • "Enter a correct amount in field Value in Group Currency" (Transaction Currency/Local Currency)

The source MS Excel (xlsx) file contains all the amounts in the numeric format. One or more records contain "0.07" ("0,07") in the amount field.
