3631537 - Time Accounts and Accruals Not Automatically Created for Contingent Workers - SAP SuccessFactors Time Off

• Time accounts and accruals for the current period are not automatically created for contingent workers after assigning a time profile. 
• Future time accounts for a subsequent year (e.g., 2026) are automatically created instead of the current year (2025) time accounts when assigning a time profile to a contingent worker. 

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Navigate to Manage Data and select Time Account Type.  
2. Verify that "Account Creation Automation" is set to "Automatic Account Creation".  
3. Confirm that "Accrual Creation Automation" is set to "Automatic Accrual Creation".  
4. Assign the Time Profile to the contingent worker's profile.  
5. Open Administer Time for the contingent worker.  
6. Observe that the time account and accruals are created automatically for a future period instead of the current period.  

This is a known issue.

• The issue only occurs when assigning/changing the time profile after hire. If the time profile is assigned during the hire process, this issue does not occur.
• A fix will be provided for this issue in the 1H 2026 release.

Workaround:

1. Use the manual calendar run as a temporary solution to create the missing time accounts and accruals until the fix is implemented. 
2. Navigate to Manage Time Off Calendars.
3. Select "New Calendar".
4. Choose "Account Creation" and run the calendar to create the accounts.
5. Select "Accrual" and run the calendars to create the accrual postings.
