Symptom
After creating the sales quotation, the requirements do not appear in the Monitor Stock / Requirements List app (MD04) as expected.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Cause
The requirements are not transferred to MD04 because the "Order probability" of the customer is maintained as 0.
"Order probability" is the probability (expressed as a percentage) of the customer confirming the inquiry or quotation item as part of a sales order. For example, a quotation for 100 pieces with a probability of 50% will generate requirements for 50 pieces. If this value is set to 0, no requirements transfer will be carried out, meaning it will not be displayed in MD04.
"Order probability" can be changed in one of the following two ways:
- In Display Customer app (XD03)
- Select Customer's sales areas
- Choose relevant sales organization
- Select Sales area data
- Select the 'Sales' tab
- Edit 'Order Probability'
- In Maintain Business Partner app
- Search for Business Partner
- Choose 'Customer (Sales)' in the 'Display in BP Role' dropdown list
- Select 'Sales and Distribution'
- Select the 'Sales' tab
- Edit 'Order Probability'
Resolution
Ensure the "Order probability" is not set to 0 for the corresponding customer.
