3632006 - how to lock the plan period of financial plan data in SAP S/4hana

Symptom

  • Unable to lock the plan period with app Manage Open Periods when using the Fiori app: financial plan data import (app ID F1711).
  • Data can be uploaded for periods beyond the intended upload period.
  • Fiori app: Manage Posting Periods (F4684) only locks periods for actual data and some plan certain plan transactions
