3632195 - Unable to create a job while trying to promote OLAP connection

Symptom

  • While trying to promote an OLAP Connection promotion is failing with the following error:
    • Sorry, Promotion management application is unable to process your request.
      The error from the server is: com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (101) JCO_ERROR_CONFIGURATION: Initialization of repository destination null.null.null00 failed: No user identity is configured at com.sap.conn.jco.rt.RfcDestination.getSystemID(RfcDestination.java:1507) at com.sap.conn.jco.rt.RepositoryManager.getRepository(RepositoryManager.java:28) at com.sap.conn.jco.rt.RfcDestination.initRepository(RfcDestination.java:1464) at com.sap.conn.jco.rt.RfcDestination.getRepository(RfcDestination.java:1846) at com.sap.conn.jco.rt.RfcDestination.getRepository(RfcDestination.java:40) at com.businessobjects.lcm.cts.BWUtilities.processABAPDependencies(BWUtilities.java:57)
  • After Reviewing the High level APS logs we have found out the following error:
    • com.businessobjects.multidimensional.services.AuthenticationException: Failed to authenticate for connection [PO Account Assignment Query] using session locale [English].
