Symptom
- Executive reviewers of calibration sessions are seeing To Do cards on their home page for in-progress sessions even though they are not part of the session.
- This behavior started occurring after the 1H 2025 release.
Note: In 1H 2025, SAP has introduced a few enhancements to Executive Review in Calibration. Executive reviewers can change ratings directly within the Executive Review for employees in in-progress sessions. To use these features, executive reviewers have the Write permission.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals
- SAP SuccessFactors Calibration
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to Instance.
- Proxy to the user (Executive Reviewer).
- Under For You Today, notice that Executive reviewers of calibration sessions are seeing To Do cards on their home page for in-progress sessions even though they are not part of the session.
Cause
The behavior appears to have started after enabling a new "write to edit" permission for the Executive Review function, which was part of the 1H 2025 release.
Resolution
- Executive reviewer is based on calibration template. If it was enabled with write or finalize permission against in-progress session in Manage Calibration Setting, To-Do item/cards would be generated when activating calibration session(created based on executive reviewer calibration template), it is an expected system behavior.
- In regards to why not all calibration sessions display in homepage todo cards, the following logic applies:
- if the calibration sessions were activated before the permission (Executive reviewer write/finalize in progress session) enabled, there would be no todo item generated.
- If sessions were activated after the permission enabled, there would be todo items generated.
