The system creates inspection lots regardless of whether an inspection plan is created/released due to which inspection lots are generated without any inspection plan.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- APP: Manage Inspection plan.
- Check the relevant inspection plan, It is observed that the inspection plan is not yet released for the desired material.
- APP : Manage inspection lot.
- Notice that the inspection lot has been created for that material without an inspection plan.
Cause
Key date of inspection plan is after the lot creation date.
Resolution
- Ensure that the inspection plan is created and released before the creation of the inspection lot.
- The key date of the inspection plan should not be after the creation date of inspection lot.
- Ensure that the settings of the tasks list in the APP : Display material is correctly maintained under the Quality management tab.
