Symptom
The parameter {0} on the "instruction.Questionnaire.UserSurvey.ResourceSpecificHeader" label is not converted to the proper value "instructor" on the user side.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Access SuccessFactors Learning >
- Attend a class for an ILT item with a survey that contains questions with Resource Type: Instructor >
- Wait for the survey to be triggered >
- Select the survey from the assignments >
- Notice that the text on the title does not convert the parameter {0} into "instructor".
Cause
- Our engineering team confirmed that the "instructor" parameter is no longer supported after the 2H2024 release.
- The Learning label parameters were updated to support only number variables, people's names, and date/time formats.
- This means that other parameters, such as {0} for "instructor" on the "instruction.Questionnaire.UserSurvey.ResourceSpecificHeader" label, were deprecated and will no longer function.
Resolution
- The parameters on the labels for all supported locales have been automatically updated to comply with this standard.
- If any labels have been customized to include parameters or are using any deprecated locale, manually maintain those to remove any unsupported parameters.
