3632732 - Error when accessing Project WIP Details from Monitor Projects app in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

When navigating from Monitor Projects app to the Project WIP Details app, the error "Invalid analytical ID could not be processed" is triggered.

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Monitor Projects.
  2. Select a Project.
  3. Navigate to Project WIP Details.

Cause

Project WIP details does not support Enterprise Projects.

Resolution

  1. Use the Project WIP Details app for Customer Projects only.
  2. Refer to: Display Project WIP Details: "You should use this app to monitor customer projects for which the Project Billing functionality has been activated."
