3632744 - Does Enabling External to Internal Profile Conversion Affect Historical Hire Profiles?

When the “Enable External-to-Internal Profile Conversion” feature is turned on in the instance, profiles of candidates who were hired before the feature was enabled may also get converted from external to internal profiles.

It does not affect people hired before you turned this feature on. Their profiles will stay as external candidates. Their profiles are not automatically changed.

If you want to make old hires into internal candidates, you will need to do it manually.
