3632828 - MDF Block opened form Performance Form do not show the correct Object label configured.

• When an MDF Block link is accessed from a Performance Form, the pop-up does not display the object label as configured in Configure Object Definition.
  Instead, the pop-up title displays the Object ID (e.g., "Default Screen") rather than the intended label.
  
  
• The translation on the Custom Object pop-up header does not show the correct label translation when accessing Block link from Performance Form.

This behavior is specific to the Performance Form. The correct object label displays as expected on the People Profile.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

• Log in to the instance and open the Performance Form.

• Navigate to any Performance Section that contains a description with a link to an MDF Block.

• Observe that when the MDF Block link is clicked, the pop-up window that appears does not display the configured object label.

  • Instead, it shows the Object ID (Default Screen) in the pop-up header.

This is currently expected behavior as per the system design. The default UI (Default Screen) assigned to the object is used across all locations where the MDF object appears — including the Manage Data page, the MDF quickcard, and the block pop-up on the Performance Form. 

Due to this, as ID does not have translation unlike labels, the custom object block pop-up header does not show translated labels when accessing the block link from Performance Form.

• Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Configuration UI.

• Search for the screen currently configured in the Performance Form.

  • For example, search using the label name associated with the MDF Block.

• To update the block label, the Screen ID needs to be changed.

  • Delete the existing screen and create a new screen with the same configuration but a different Screen ID. Ensure the new Screen ID aligns with the label you want displayed in the pop-up. 

NOTE: But this will not help with the translation issue of the object block pop-up header when accessing the block link from Performance Form. This currently a system limitation.
