3632905 - Dismissal Protection History Records Not Displayed on Legacy People Profile - Employee Central

• History records of Employee Dismissal Protection are not displayed on the Legacy People Profile.
• Once the end date of a Dismissal Protection record has passed, it disappears from the Legacy Profile.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Configure and enable the Dismissal Protection portlet.
2. Record one or more entries under the portlet with a near end date.
3. Once the end date of the record has passed, it will no longer be visible on the profile.

This is the expected, by-design behavior of the standard Dismissal Protection portlet on the Legacy People Profile. Due to the portlet not being effective-dated, historical records are not displayed once the end date is passed.

Although historical records are not shown in the standard portlet on the Legacy People Profile, there are several possible workarounds:

• Create a custom screen via Manage Configuration UI based on the Employee Dismissal Protection object. This screen can be used on the Legacy People Profile to display historical records, if the screen is assigned to a Live Profile MDF Information block in Configure People Profile.
• Enable the Latest People Profile (PPX), where historical records are displayed in view mode by default on the standard Dismissal Protection card under the Personal Data section.
• Create a Story Report as described in KBA 3307572 – How to report on Dismissal Protection objects in Story?, to check historical Dismissal Protection records.
• Check the records directly in Manage Data by selecting the Employee Dismissal Protection object and filtering by employee.
• Use the Import and Export Data tool to collect historical data for the Employee Dismissal Protection object.
