3632989 - Message no. ME127 - Valuation data for material xxx, valuation type xxx, not maintained

Getting error message Message no. ME127 - Valuation data for material xxx, valuation type xxx, not maintained while creating Purchasing Documents.  

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the app to create a Purchase Order (PO) or Purchase Requisition (PR).
2. Fill in all the required fields, such as: Material number, Plant, Purchasing group, Purchasing organization, Quantity, etc.
3. Click on Check button.
4. An error message appears: "Message no. ME127 - Valuation data for material [material number], valuation type [valuation type], not maintained."

This error typically occurs when the valuation data (such as valuation class, valuation type, or price control) for the specified material is not maintained in the system.

To resolve this issue, ensure that the material is maintained properly and below details are in place:

1. 1. Check Material Master Data:
      Verify that the material has the necessary valuation data maintained, including:
      - Valuation Class
      - Price Control
      - Valuation Type (if applicable)

   2. If its its not maintained then Create or Extend Material:
      Open the app "Create Material" or "Manage Product Master Data" and create or extend the material by entering the missing data as outlined in Step 1 for the specified fields.

   3. Accounting View:
      In the Accounting view, ensure that the valuation information is correctly entered.
