3633071 - Applicants unable to view SSN when editing on their application - Recruiting Management

Symptom

  • Applicants unable to view SSN when editing on their application in new workbench
  • In the old view when you click edit you could see the SSN to make edits but with the new view when you edit you cannot see the actual number only **** and it forces you re-enter the whole number over again

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access any job req 
  2. Access Applicant 
  3. View from legacy – SSN is masked and when you click on edit the number is visible
  4. Observe that audit history for SSN is also masked
  5. View from latest – SSN is masked and when you click on edit it is not showing the number as in legacy until you click on eye icon
  6. Observe the audit history for SSN, it is not masked

Resolution

The fix code has been created by the Engineering team and the patch will be released as a part of 2H2025 release.
