Manager accesses LMS program with pipe "|" results in HTTP Status 400 – Bad Request

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access as Manager
  2. Select Team View
  3. View user
  4. Select program with Pipe "|"
  5. Result HTTP Status 400 – Bad Request

Cause

Program Title which was passed in the redirection URL was not encoded for special characters. Encoding the program title fixed the redirection.

Resolution

This issue involves two stages of fix:

The backend fix will be applied to Production on 7th August 2025 (LRN-199093)

The UI fix will be applied on 29th July 2025 (WEF-165607)
