3633167 - Over-the-Counter Outbound Deliveries Missing Logistics Area Assignment

Symptom

  • Over the counter outbound deliveries do not have logistics area assigned.
  • Unable to release the outbound delivery due to missing logistics area assignment.

Environment

Outbound Delivery

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Over-the-Counter Sales.
  2. Navigate to the Outbound Deliveries view.
  3. Search and select the relevant delivery document.
  4. Observe that the line item 10 does not have Logistics Area assigned to it.

Cause

  • The product you are trying to issue does not have stock in the over the counter (OTC) logistics area.
  • The OTC logistics area  should be designated for "Over the Counter Stock" logistics use.
  • SAP recommends the OTC logistics area have only one logistics use "Over-the-Counter Stock".

Resolution

  1. Maintain stock for the relevant product in over the counter the logistics area.
  2. Ensure the logistics area from which over the counter stock is issued has only the logistics use "Over the Counter Stock".
