3633263 - CPQ integration during the refresh process of backend systems

Symptom

It is planned to do a tenant refresh of backend system, such as S/4 HANA, and it is needed to know what should be done on CPQ System during or after the process.

Resolution

  • From an integrated scenario perspective, in case changes occur in backend system, data should also be updated in other integrated systems, such as CPQ
  • When S/4 system is refreshed it is necessary to refresh not only CPQ but also all other integrated systems in use 
    • It is recommended to do this process synchronously in order to have compatible data in all systems
  • After CPQ tenant refresh it is needed to make necessary changes in system configuration in order to ensure all system are in sync.
