3633729 - Wrong cost rate determined in the project's service

System is determining wrong cost rate in Project's service.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Go to the Projects sub view.
3. Search for relevant Project ID.
4. Select Edit.
5. Navigate to Project Plan tab -->Gantt Chart subtab.
6. Select the relevant project task.
7. Navigate to work subtab.
8. For service 'ABC' it determined, cost rate is wrong.

'ABC' refers to Service ID.

1. For service 'ABC', the specific task is assigned to team employee 'DEF'.
2. And this employee is from company 'AAA' and the project belongs to the different company 'BBB'. 
3. Indeed, cost rate the value should be picked from the Contract and not the service's cost rate. 
4. While checking the scheduling of this task, one of the contract item statuses is in inactive for sourcing which leads to wrong cost rate for the service 'ABC'.

'DEF' refers to the Employee ID.
'AAA' refers to Employee's company ID
'BBB' refers to Project company ID.

The contract item needs to be activated to fetch the correct cost rate in Project. To do that follow the below mentioned steps.

1. Go to the work center Sourcing and Contracting.
2. Go to the view Contracts.
3. Search for the relevant contract.
4. Give edit.
5. Go to the items tab.
6. Select an item and go to the subtab prices.
7. Set the valid to date to a date in the future.
8. Select "Activate for Sourcing" and the item will become active.
