3633763 - FTE is not calculating properly when using API/3rd Party - Onboarding

When initiating candidate from RCM to Onboarding via API/Integration the following error occurs:

"You are not allowed to have FTE greater than 1. Assigning this employee to the selected position would exceed the FTE value of the position on 1 occasions in the period from 07/08/2025 until 12/31/9999. Please choose another position or change the FTE value of the employee".

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. RCM job requisition is completed accordingly
2. Integration information is sent towards API/3rdparty
3. Initiation via RCM to Onboarding starts
4. Information is sent back from 3rd party API to Onboarding
5. Directly in the interface is observed the error message: "You are not allowed to have FTE greater than 1. Assigning this employee to the selected position would exceed the FTE value of the position on 1 occasions in the period from 07/08/2025 until 12/31/9999. Please choose another position or change the FTE value of the employee".

The problem is happening because the service user (BPE) and the company are using different language settings. For example, in English a decimal point is written as a dot (like 1.5), while in Portuguese it's written with a comma (like 1,5). This difference is causing confusion in how numbers are read or processed, affecting the way FTE value appears 100 instead of 1.

To resolve this issue, please make sure that both the company and the service user are using the same default language and number format settings.
